We recommend booking your custom cake order as soon as possible. I recommend placing your orders at least 1-2 months or more in advance. For weddings 4-6 months in advance is ideal since the wedding season can be very busy for us.
There are many factors involved in pricing our cakes. The intricacy and size of your cake will determine the cost of your cake. Decorations such as fresh flowers or any figurines made with fondant will increase the cost of the cake. Toys or decorations you bring us will not increase the cost of your cake. I have a minimum order of $150 for custom cakes and a $100 minimum order for all other custom desserts.
Once a final quote is received, you have 48 hours to complete the deposit. An email will be sent to you with the invoice and instructions of how to pay. If a deposit is not received your order will be cancelled. Deposit is 50% of your order total. The remainder of the balance will be due one week before the event. For larger orders the balance is due 3 weeks before the event.
Last minute orders may be subject to a rush fee. Last minute orders must be paid in full as soon as an invoice is given. Rush fees start at $25 and go up depending on the size and final design of the cake. A rush fee is an order placed 5 days prior to the event.
Your order is not confirmed until we have received full payment. For last minute cake orders, we require payment in full.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your cake order. Full payment is required one week before the event. For larger orders of $500 or more your order must be paid in full 3 weeks in advance.

As of right now I do not offer any vegan, gluten-free, or kosher cakes. Some of my desserts do have nuts in them and I bake with equipment that may have come in contact with nuts. I do my best to prevent cross contamination. So please inform me of any allergies.
You may cancel your order no less than one week before the event. If you cancel on time ( before one week) you will receive a full refund.

For Wedding orders or larger orders of $500 or more a full refund will be given if cancelling within 2 weeks. A week before only 50% of your deposit will be refunded.

Yes I do offer delivery depending on availability if you are unable to pick up your cake.
I charge a $25 flat rate plus mileage.
For larger orders such as wedding cakes where assembly and assistance may be required on site, delivery starts at $75- $200+. Large tiered cakes which require assembly and an extra assistant on hand fall into the latter end of this price range.
Pickup location and time will be sent to you on the invoice for your order. I am located in the Federal Way/ Kent/ Auburn area right off the 5 freeway.
As of right now I do not offer cake tastings.
I always make sure to include a cake care sheet with all my outgoing orders.
Custom cakes should be kept at room temperature for a minimum of 3-4 hours before serving. High temperatures or a very humid climate will significantly reduce the display time of your cake.
Make sure your cake is placed on a level and flat surface when loading it in your car. If you're transporting your cake over a long distance on a warm day, I recommend keeping the AC on. A chilled cake is much more stable during transport than a warm one. Custom cakes should never be kept in an unoccupied vehicle during warm weather, as the buttercream may melt and the sugar decorations may be ruined.
I do my best to give each customer time and attention to ensure that the custom cake they are ordering is consistent with their vision and design. Please ensure that you have all the details ready. Please make sure you send over color swatches, pinterest inspiration boards, pictures, invitations, the venue, and theme.
If it is determined that more time may be needed to discuss a custom cake design. An hourly consultation fee will be required for orders that require more discussion at a rate of $25 per hour
